Brooks Nader Teases Harrowing Hospitalization in Love Thy Nader Season 2
Ambulance sirens and a hospital run are on deck for the new season of Love Thy Nader, Brooks Nader tells Us Weekly, teasing a family emergency involving one of her sisters while keeping which one under wraps after Tuesday’s Disney Upfronts.
Hulu is bringing back Love Thy Nader later this year, and the sisters are not exactly easing into a chill sophomore season. We are talking real emergency-level chaos, a big career swing, and the kind of candid family friction they barely held back in season 1. Yes, really.
The emergency tease
"So far, we've had a hospitalization, an ambulance called. Not gonna reveal which sister, but there's a teaser."
That was Brooks Nader, 29, dropping the bomb at the Disney Upfronts on Tuesday, May 12. She also told fans to buckle up and bring popcorn, which, given the ambulance part, is a pretty wild pitch.
What season 2 is actually serving
- More drama and major life changes, per Brooks and sister Mary Holland Nader (she is 26).
- A cast that is way looser on camera this time. Mary Holland said a year of doing the show stripped away their filter and any hesitation about letting fights play out in front of everyone.
- Sarah Jane Nader, 22, says it is coming very soon, people are already asking, and the stuff that has been happening behind closed doors will actually make it to air.
- Romance watch: expect more dates and more single-girl energy. She also called the new batch crazier and more unhinged than last time.
Quick timeline check
The ambulance talk happened at Disney Upfronts in May. About a month before that, Mary Holland and Sarah Jane hit The Daily Front Row's 10th annual Fashion Los Angeles Awards and basically admitted they are now comfortable enough with reality TV to stop sanding off the sharp edges. Translation: more raw moments, fewer guardrails.
Brooks goes Baywatch
While the sisters keep grinding on their New York dreams, Brooks is also suiting up for the Baywatch reboot. Sister Grace Ann is fully on board, calling it the perfect fit and pointing out that Brooks basically manifested this the moment she rocked that red swimsuit on the cover of Sports Illustrated. She cannot wait to watch Brooks sprint down beaches and launch off piers, and honestly, same.
Where we left them
Season 1 followed the Naders leaving Louisiana for New York City and chasing careers while navigating the sibling swirl. That entire first season is streaming now on Hulu. Season 2 does not have a premiere date yet, but Hulu says it is coming later this year. Given the ambulance tease, I doubt they are overselling it.
