Brittany Cartwright Sets the Record Straight on Plastic Surgery Rumors After Mommy Makeover
Brittany Cartwright shuts down the guessing game, detailing what really went into her mommy makeover—and teasing she’s open to future tweaks, with nothing locked in yet—in an exclusive with Us Weekly.
Brittany Cartwright is tired of the guessing game. While she gears up for The Valley season 3, she laid out exactly what she did and did not touch during her 2025 'mommy makeover' — and how open she is to more down the road. Short version: she is not hiding anything, and she literally filmed part of it.
What she actually did (and what she didn’t)
Cartwright, 37, told Us Weekly on Wednesday, April 15 that she does not have a next procedure picked out, but she is an 'open book.' After welcoming her son Cruz in April 2021, she waited nearly four years and then went in for a breast augmentation (her second) and a tummy tuck in 2025. On her 'When Reality Hits' podcast, she explained why: she was dealing with diastasis recti (that ab-muscle separation you hear about after pregnancy), stretch marks, and what she called a postpartum 'shelf.'
She also shut down a couple of popular rumors — hard.
'I did not get a nose job. I did not get fillers in my face, like everyone thinks. If I did, I would tell you.'
And yes, she had that second boob job on camera. Her take now is simple: if she does anything else, the world will know, because she signs up to show her life.
How she feels about it now
Cartwright says she feels amazing and genuinely relieved she went through with it — framing the surgery as taking her confidence and her body back after years of wanting to make those changes. If you have ever heard a mom talk about not quite feeling like herself post-baby, you get where she is coming from.
Where her personal life is at
She had the procedures while separated from estranged husband Jax Taylor. They have not finalized their divorce, and they share custody of Cruz, who is now 5. Coparenting, by her account, is a work in progress but handled privately: no fights in front of their son, and both parents put him first. Taylor, 46, stepped back from The Valley ahead of the new season while addressing mental health issues.
Season 3 vibe (and dating on TV)
Cartwright says this season feels much lighter and she has zero interest in returning to the dark, toxic stretch of drama. She also dips a toe back into dating. If it becomes a real relationship, she expects a partner to respect that she lives her life on-camera — they will probably pop in and out — but she is not looking for someone who is thirsty for screen time.
