The fourth film in the romantic adventures of Bridget Jones will be released in February. In the movie, subtitled Mad About the Boy, the woman will once again be torn between two men.

The story centers on Bridget's affair with her boss, Daniel Cleaver, and her acquaintance with Mark Darcy, with whom the relationship goes from antipathy to true love.
In the second part, titled The Edge of Reason, Bridget and Mark finally split up and Daniel Cleaver reappeared on the horizon.
A trip to Thailand ended with the arrest of Bridget at the airport. Of course, Mark Darcy came to the rescue, realizing how much he loved Bridget and eventually proposing to her.
The threequel separated Bridget and the man of her life again, so she spent the night with a stranger at a music festival. But almost immediately, fate brought her back together with Mark.
After finding out she was pregnant, the main character had to make a difficult decision, but in the finale, of course, she stayed with Mark Darcy.

The director of the new movie is Michael Morris, who has worked mainly on TV series. Among them are Billions, Better Call Saul and House of Cards. But his debut feature, To Leslie, earned an Oscar nomination for actress Andrea Riseborough.
The screenplay was written by two-time Oscar nominee Dan Mazer, who worked on the third installment of Bridget Jones, and Abi Morgan, whose credits include Shame with Michael Fassbender and The Iron Lady with Meryl Streep.
