Brace for Awkward: Netflix Plots The Inbetweeners Reunion Movie
News has surfaced about The Inbetweeners reunion movie at Netflix — but what, exactly, is on the table?
For the first time since 2014’s second movie, Will, Simon, Jay and Neil are set to reunite on screen: Variety reports that Netflix is developing a new The Inbetweeners reunion film with original creators Iain Morris and Damon Beesley back at the wheel. The project is in development now, with final cast deals being locked in; no title, plot or release window has been announced yet.

“Incredibly exciting to be plotting more adventures for our four favourite friends (ooh friends),” Morris and Beesley told Variety.
Morris and Beesley are working through their Fudge Park Productions banner. The revival comes after new arrangements with rights holder Banijay U.K., per the trade report.
From TV cult hit to big-screen success
The U.K. teen comedy originally ran for three seasons of six episodes each (2008–2010) on E4 before jumping to theaters with two films: The Inbetweeners Movie (2011) and The Inbetweeners 2 (2014).
In the U.S., the original series and both films are available on Apple TV and Amazon ’s Prime Video. Netflix has not provided a release date or production start for the reunion film.
