In a candid April 15 TikTok, Bachelor in Paradise season 10 alum Alexe Godin, 27, revealed she survived child sexual assault and vowed to use her platform for something meaningful.

Not the usual franchise drama here: Alexe Godin, who you met on The Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise, used her platform this week to share something heavy and important. In a TikTok posted Wednesday, April 15, the 27-year-old said she was sexually abused as a child and talked about how she is still working through it.

What Alexe shared

Godin said the abuse came from someone close to her when she was a kid. She did not go into specifics — by design. Her point was that the experience has shaped how she sees boundaries, trust, and relationships, but it does not define her. She also made it clear you do not owe the internet your story to have it be valid; people heal in different ways. For her, speaking openly is part of that process. She linked to RAINN, the major U.S. anti–sexual violence organization, in the caption so anyone dealing with similar trauma can find help.

"If someone can watch this and feel less alone, then sharing was worth it."

It is a tough thing to say out loud on a public stage, and yes, that is the point — not to rehash details, but to name it and point people toward resources.

Fans showed up in the comments, as did fellow alums like Serene Russell and Susie Evans, who both thanked Alexe for speaking out and backed her for trying to make someone else feel less alone.

Quick refresher on Alexe and Andrew

  • Alexe first hit the franchise on Grant Ellis' The Bachelor season 29 in 2025. She got the first impression rose but was eliminated just before hometowns.
  • She headed to Bachelor in Paradise season 10 later in 2025, where she met Andrew Spencer. They have been together since.
  • On the Dear Shandy podcast in November 2025, the two described themselves as healthy bickerers who mainly clash over money. Alexe joked she always imagined she would find a "finance guy" to balance her out — then met Andrew, who is wired similarly, so, in her words, they were in trouble.
  • Andrew, 31, said they are fine because they talk through the real stuff — investing, timing, and saving — and he is making sure they are being smart about their future.
