Bachelor Nation’s Blake Horstmann Just Revealed Where Things Stand With Nick Viall
Blake Horstmann isn’t burying the hatchet with Nick Viall anytime soon. At the Absolut Hottest Brunch: Desert Edition in Palm Springs, he told Us Weekly Viall is still blocked—proof their Bachelor Nation feud is very much alive.
In case you were hoping the Blake Horstmann vs. Nick Viall thing had cooled off by now, it hasn’t. Not even a little.
Where things stand (spoiler: still icy)
While hitting the Absolut Hottest Brunch: Desert Edition in Palm Springs on Saturday, April 11, Blake, 36, was asked about Nick, 45. His answer was short and not sweet:
We’ll just say he’s still blocked.
Pressed on whether there’s been any kind of thaw as he bounced around Coachella 2026 with his fiancée, Giannina Milady Gibelli, 33, Blake didn’t hedge: he doesn’t want a reconciliation. At all.
How we got here
- 2019: Right after the Bachelor in Paradise season 6 premiere, Nick publicly ripped Blake’s handling of a love triangle with Caelynn Miller-Keyes and Kristina Schulman. That lit the fuse.
- April 2020: Someone asked Blake if he’d ever go on Nick’s podcast. His answer was... memorable:
I’d rather s*** in my hand and clap.
- Now (Coachella 2026): Blake says they haven’t reconciled and he doesn’t want to. The block stays.
Wedding plans, minus the roses
Despite the ongoing franchise drama energy, Blake isn’t ducking the Bachelor crowd entirely. As he and Giannina lock in wedding details, he says the guest list will include friends from both Bachelor Nation and Love Is Blind (Giannina’s original stomping grounds). Expect plenty of TikToks and reels from that crew because of course there will be.
As for any cheesy rose gags at the ceremony? Giannina asked if she was getting his last rose. Blake’s answer: absolutely not. He doubled down with a laugh and a very clear 'Hell no.'
Blake the DJ (yes, still)
Outside the TV bubble, Blake’s been busy behind the decks. He says he’s been DJing officially for eight years and spent Coachella weekend playing The Absolut Heat Haus on the Indio festival grounds, where he even worked in a remix built around Giannina’s most quotable Love Is Blind moments. He was also sampling the new Absolut Tabasco on site, because brand activations never sleep.
Blake’s take on the current DJ scene: there are a lot of new faces, and he’s fine with that, but he also puts himself in the 'pioneer' bucket alongside DJ Pauly D. Bold claim, but hey, confidence plays. He says he links up with Absolut every Coachella and the goal is the same every time: throw a sweat-soaked dance party and keep the vibe high.
