Ariana’s Coachella check-in: protect Ciara at all costs

While hanging at Coachella’s Aperol Day Club on Friday, April 10, Ariana, 40, was asked who in Bravo-land needs a drink the most right now. No hesitation: Ciara, 30.

Oh, I would give my girl Ciara a drink... We are gonna take a shot together.

She joked that pretty much anything — a concert, a day in the sun, or a flat-out bad day — runs smoother with a good drink. And when asked if Ciara was actually at Coachella in Indio, California, Ariana played it coy: 'I don’t know. Is she?'

So, what set this off?

Less than a month ago, Summer House costars West Wilson, 31, and Amanda Batula, 34, revealed their so-called platonic friendship had 'evolved' into something more. That news blew up the Bravo corner of the internet — and yes, plenty of people immediately thought of Vanderpump Rules and the Scandoval saga.

Why Ariana’s antennae are up

Quick refresher: back in March 2023, Ariana split from Tom Sandoval, 43, after his affair with Rachel 'Raquel' Leviss, 31, went public. Rachel exited the show for good. Ariana and Sandoval both returned for season 11 but basically ghosted each other on camera. The vibe got so fractured that in 2024, Bravo said it will reboot Vanderpump Rules with a new cast the following year. In other words: Ariana knows what it looks like when friend groups get wrecked by messy overlap.

The Summer House mess, untangled

Before Amanda and West got together, Amanda and Kyle Cooke — an OG Summer House cast member — announced their split in January after four years of marriage. Around the same time, West’s history with Ciara was still very much a thing: he dated her in 2023 and openly flirted with her throughout season 10, which was filmed in summer 2025 — yes, that timeline is messy, but that’s what the players are working with.

After West and Amanda confirmed their relationship in March, an insider claimed the situation was even stickier than fans realized: West had been hitting on Ciara and they had hooked up recently — about three to four weeks before April 3. The twist? According to that same source, Ciara did not know anything about West and Amanda. Apparently, no one did.

Kyle, 43, has since admitted he gave West a 'hall pass' after West and Amanda were handsy during filming. With the relationship now official, Kyle says he is rethinking that call.

Ciara is not exactly keeping quiet

She has been dropping pointed little breadcrumbs. On Saturday, April 11, while promoting her Sephora partnership, she captioned the post: '@sephora actually rewards loyalty.' Subtle as a brick.

And on the Euphoria red carpet, she lobbed this: 'If you steal a friend’s ex-boyfriend, then I feel like you oughta get married.' Translation: if you are going to blow up a friendship, at least commit.
