Andy Cohen Clears Summer House Cast in Leaked Reunion Audio Mystery
Andy Cohen shot down speculation that a Summer House cast member leaked the season 10 reunion audio, saying on the April 27 episode of SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live that the culprit wasn’t from the cast.
Short version: Andy Cohen says the Summer House cast didn’t leak that reunion audio, a Bravo fan helped crack who did, and the network’s investigation now points to someone tied to production. Messy? Extremely. Surprising? A little.
How this blew up
- Thu, Apr 23: The Summer House crew shot the season 10 reunion for nearly 12 hours.
- Fri, Apr 24 (morning): Audio hits social of Ciara Miller and Amanda Batula arguing about West Wilson. You can also hear West, Kyle Cooke, KJ Dillard, and Lindsay Hubbard in the clip.
- Fri, Apr 24 (later): Bravo calls it a serious breach, says they’ve launched a full investigation and will take action.
- Sun, Apr 26: Bravo says the probe is done. Conclusion: the audio was an unauthorized recording distributed by an individual involved in the production of the reunion. They add there’s no evidence any cast member recorded it. They also warn there’s more improperly obtained audio floating around and tell everyone to stop sharing it.
- Mon, Apr 27: On SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live, Andy (57) says he never thought the cast did it, was furious about the whole situation, and felt bad the cast had to publicly deny it. He also says investigators jumped in right away.
Andy’s read on the finger-pointing
On his show Monday, Andy said the instant fan theories blaming the cast didn’t make sense to him. He doubled down on backing the cast and said the worst part of the next day was watching them feel like they had to go on record and say, basically, I didn’t leak this.
"A Bravo fan cracked the case. Delivered crucial information."
That’s Andy’s line, and yes, he teased we’ll hear more about that person. He also made it clear he was mad about how the whole thing went down and that Bravo had investigators on it fast.
What Bravo decided
The network’s Sunday update says the leak came from someone connected to the reunion’s production, not from the cast. They say they’ve taken action based on what they found. Separate from that, Kyle Cooke and KJ Dillard both publicly said they had nothing to do with the leak.
About that viral clip
The audio that first took off online centered on Ciara and Amanda arguing over West Wilson, with West, Kyle, KJ, and Lindsay Hubbard also audible. That context matters because it immediately put a spotlight on the people you could hear, which is exactly why Andy bristled at the pile-on.
Where this leaves things
Bravo says it will keep responding to the unauthorized distribution of its content and is warning platforms and people not to post or amplify any of the leaked audio. Translation: if more clips pop up, expect takedowns and maybe worse.
Summer House airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
