According to Page Six, Sydney Sweeney has quietly met with two rabbis as she weighs a possible conversion to Judaism amid her relationship with Scooter Braun. The outlet also reports the pair have discussed starting a family, framing the meetings as part of a serious turn in their romance.

Conversion rumors
Before Page Six’s report, the gossip account DeuxMoi was first to float that Sweeney was exploring conversion. The two were also reportedly seen at Rosh Hashanah services at Temple Sholom in Greenwich, Connecticut, a sign the actress has been spending time inside Jewish community spaces.
As a point of context, converting to Judaism typically involves extensive study and community participation and can take anywhere from one to four years. The process generally requires a sponsoring rabbi.
Sweeney and Braun have not exactly stayed out of sight. Since being linked in September 2025 , they’ve made a string of public outings, including being spotted at the NBA Finals and on walks in Venice.
Career crossover
On the professional side, Sweeney recently signed with CAA, one of Hollywood ’s biggest talent agencies. Puck’s Matthew Belloni reported that Braun helped set up meetings that paved the way for the deal, suggesting his influence may extend beyond their personal lives.
As for what’s next, Page Six has previously said Braun hopes to propose soon, but there’s no confirmation from either of them. Neither has publicly addressed the engagement chatter or the reported conversion plans.
