Starting January 15, Netflix will stream all 26 James Bond movies, as Amazon MGM Studios continues to license MGM classics to other platforms.

Fans of the world’s most famous secret agent are in for a treat this winter. Beginning January 15, every single James Bond film —26 in total—will be available to stream on Netflix. This move comes as part of Amazon MGM Studios’ ongoing approach to sharing MGM’s legendary film catalog with a wider audience, even though Amazon itself owns the rights to the Bond franchise.

Chris Ottinger, who leads worldwide distribution at Amazon MGM Studios, explained the company’s direction:

“When Amazon acquired MGM, Amazon’s plan was to continue licensing MGM’s iconic library to streaming and television partners around the world,”

he said.

“Bringing these iconic films and shows to Netflix is part of that continued strategy.”

Bond’s Streaming Journey Continues

This isn’t the first time Bond’s adventures have landed on a different streaming service. Just last year, the entire series was made available on Pluto TV, a free streaming platform. However, the Netflix deal goes a step further by including 1983’s Never Say Never Again. This film, which features Sean Connery’s final turn as 007, is often left out of the official Bond lineup since it wasn’t produced by Eon Productions, but it remains a fan favorite.

With all the films coming to one of the most popular streaming services in the U.S., longtime fans and newcomers alike will have the chance to revisit or discover the full saga of the British spy, from the earliest classics to the latest blockbusters.

What’s Next for 007?

While the next chapter in the Bond saga is still shrouded in secrecy, it’s been confirmed that Denis Villeneuve, known for directing Dune , will be at the helm. Details about the upcoming film are scarce, and fans are left to speculate about the direction the franchise will take and who might step into the iconic role next.

In the meantime, Netflix’s acquisition of the entire Bond collection is a strategic move to keep the franchise in the spotlight. With all the films in one place, viewers can easily catch up on the series, debate their favorite Bond actors, and revisit the most memorable moments in spy cinema.
