Paris Hilton isn’t here for the Halloween costume hand-wringing — and she’s got a message for anyone trying to dim her family’s fun.

For their Beauty and the Beast theme, Paris Hilton went full Belle while husband Carter Reum suited up as the Beast. Their three-year-old son, Phoenix, was Lumière, and baby London toddled in as Chip. When some commenters wondered why London wasn’t Belle, Hilton jumped into the Instagram fray to explain the obvious: London asked to be Chip.

Hilton answered in the comments of a viral Reel that was defending her, adding that the Disney classic is a favorite at home and that Chip is London’s pick. Another curveball: plenty of folks online mistook London’s outfit for Mrs. Potts (Chip’s mom, voiced by Angela Lansbury in the 1991 film ). Hilton corrected that mix-up, too.

London chose Chip — that’s her favorite character from Beauty and the Beast.

The family lineup

  • Paris Hilton — Belle
  • Carter Reum — Beast
  • Phoenix (3) — Lumière
  • London — Chip

Britney throwback, round four

Earlier in the weekend, Hilton switched gears to channel Britney Spears’ 2001 MTV Video Music Awards moment — green wrap top, glittery micro shorts, rhinestones, and a live albino Burmese python named Tango draped over her shoulders.

It ’s become a running Halloween tribute for Hilton, who’s been revisiting Spears’ signature looks year after year:

  • 2023 — “Toxic” flight attendant uniform
  • 2024 — “...Baby One More Time” schoolgirl outfit
  • 2025 — “Oops!... I Did It Again” red latex jumpsuit
  • 2026 — “I’m a Slave 4 U” VMA performance, complete with Tango the snake
