AFM’s biggest movie offering: A24’s Elden Ring
A24’s Elden Ring is already turning heads at the American Film Market — for more than name recognition alone.
Principal photography wrapped over the summer, and Alex Garland’s live‑action take on Elden Ring is now deep in visual‑effects work at Industrial Light & Magic. The feature has become the talk of the American Film Market thanks to its sheer scale and A24 footing the bill for what Deadline pegs as a budget in the $175–$200 million range.
Per Deadline, the package is the biggest single movie on offer in AFM history.
A24 has been shopping the film at AFM while locking in key partners. According to Deadline, Amazon MGM has moved early to nab a major piece of the first streaming window in many countries after theaters, with chatter that Twitch tie-ins could be part of the rollout. A U.S. streaming plan hasn’t been announced.
