Wizards, ghost hunters, and demigods.

Fall is a great time for cozy evenings under a blanket with friends or family. And the ideal option for watching together is, of course, fantasy series.

We have chosen some interesting new releases that are suitable for viewers of all ages: from the oldest to the youngest.

1. Percy Jackson and the Olympians, 2023-...

Last year, Percy Jackson and the Olympians became the most popular series on Disney+ – in just its first week, the new adaptation of Rick Riordan's novel series racked up more than 13 million views.

The main character, 12-year-old Percy, accidentally learns that he is a demigod. His father is Poseidon and his mother is an ordinary human woman, Sally. After a series of mysterious assassination attempts, Percy is sent to a closed camp for demigods, where he makes new friends and is given an important mission – to find the thief of the thunderbolt who caused a fight between Zeus and Poseidon.

2. Lockwood & Co., 2023

Jonathan Stroud is an author no less talented than J. K. Rowling, though much less famous. His series of books about teenagers fighting ghosts is an example of good young adult fiction with vivid characters, adventure, mystery and British flair.

The film adaptation of the first two books has proven to be a match for them: the actors are excellent, the action is impossible to take your eyes off the screen, and the filming is in the best tradition of British TV series.

3. Goosebumps, 2023-...

Goosebumps by R. L. Stine is once again in the hands of Hollywood producers. However, the adaptation, which began in 2023, bears little resemblance to the series of the 90s and is not even an anthology.

The show begins in 1993, when teenager Harold Biddle dies in the basement of his home under mysterious circumstances. In the present day, a group of teenagers find themselves in Biddle's dilapidated house on Halloween, hoping to throw a party, but as is often the case, things turn into big trouble. In this case, of a supernatural nature.

4. The Spiderwick Chronicles, 2024

The series revolves around the Grace family, Helen and her three children – Mallory, Jared and Simon. All four move into the old mansion of their ancestors, the Spiderwicks, who, according to rumors, were involved in magic.

On the very first night, the house begins to go awry, and the most troubled child, Jared, begins to see strange animals.

5. Agatha All Along, 2024

The action of Agatha All Along takes place after the events of the movie Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. When Wanda dies, Agatha, who was under her spell, breaks free – unfortunately without the ability to perform witchcraft.

Hoping to regain her former strength, the main character gathers a coven of former friends and heads to the Witches' Road, which, according to legend, can grant any wish.

The plot of the spin-off is obviously borrowed from The Wizard of Oz. Agatha Harkness herself is a rare example of a funny and witty villain, whose development is particularly interesting to follow. It is a perfect option for a high school audience.
