Which would you watch?

Throughout its three-year journey, Netflix and Shondaland's Bridgerton has proven that its Regency-inspired world is vast and full of tales and opportunities to explore.

With the premiere of Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story a year ago, Bridgerton became the Bridgerverse, and fans realized that spin-offs can be just as exciting, emotional and dramatic as the main show. Especially when the iconic Shonda Rhimes is penning them.

Of course, the main concern of all Bridgerton fans is that spin-offs can delay the release of the main series' seasons, as seemed to happen with Queen Charlotte and Bridgerton Season 3. But if the creators can handle the premiere schedule, there are a few minor Bridgerverse characters whose arcs viewers would love to dive into.

1. Portia Featherington

Played by: Polly Walker

Lady Featherington is one of the most colorful and complex Bridgerton characters. You hate her for her tyrannical position in the family, her penchant for consumerism, and her tendency to be dishonest. But you love her for her vibrant appearance, her fierce screen presence, her resourcefulness and street smarts, and her genuine love for her daughters.

Portia seems like new money, so a prequel about this young Georgian-era beauty conning her way into high society sounds exciting.

2. Footman John

Played by: Oli Higginson

Ask any fan who is the hottest Bridgerton supporting character and you'll hear his name. Although he only appeared on screen for a few minutes, Bridgerton's footman John stole the hearts of many viewers. We know literally nothing about him, but would love to dive into his torrid love affair with a maid or even a lady of the ton.

3. Will Mondrich

Played by: Martins Imhangbe

The boxer-turned-bar owner has already come a long way in Bridgerton, and will apparently have an even bigger arc in Season 3 as he becomes the Lord. Fans couldn’t be happier about it. After all, Will and his wife Alice are a sight to behold.

But there's more to Will. He has a rich, fascinating backstory. We know that his father was a soldier who escaped from the Colonies. We know that he is based on a real historical figure, the boxer Bill Richmond, known as the Black Terror. And that certainly makes for perfect material for a solo show.

4. Genevieve Delacroix

Played by: Kathryn Drysdale

Madame Delacroix, the savvy dressmaker of the ton, is the most mysterious Bridgerton character after Lady Whistledown. She knows everything about everybody. She was Benedict Bridgerton's lover, she is Whistledown's ally, she is a cutthroat businesswoman. But we know nothing about her past or her origin.

Why does she pretend to be French? Where is she really from? How did she become a modiste? Was she ever in love? These are questions that a solo show could answer.

5. Siena Rosso

Played by: Sabrina Bartlett

After the steamy Season 2, many viewers have forgotten about Anthony Bridgerton's first on-screen affair, Siena, an opera singer and concubine. But in fact, her post-Anthony journey could be a fun tour of Regency working class life, which both Bridgerton and Queen Charlotte didn't get enough screen time to explore.

Would you watch spinoffs based on these Bridgerton characters?
