2026 MTV VMAs add presenters Teyana Taylor and Charli XCX

Thirteen presenters are locked for the 2026 MTV Video Music AwardsPeacock Theater in Los Angeles, a mix of music powerhouses, TV fixtures and a couple of freshly minted Moon Person winners. It ’s a lineup built for crossover moments, with actors from the Yellowstone universe sharing the stage with artists who are still in the hunt for trophies this year.

Teyana Taylor arrives with bona fide awards heat — she’s Oscar- nominated for One Battle After Another — underscoring the VMAs’ habit of blurring music and film. Charli XCX is juggling double duty as a presenter and four-time 2026 nominee (including Best Pop and Best Art Direction for SS26), after a 2024 run that featured nods for Best Direction (“360”), Best Editing (“Von Dutch”), Best Art Direction and Best Trending Video.

Two names are completing neat VMA arcs onstage: Tyla, who won Best Afrobeats in both 2024 (“Water”) and 2025 (“PUSH 2 START”), and Alex Warren, who performed “Ordinary” and “Eternity” and grabbed Best New Artist in 2025. Both return this year not as nominees, but as presenters.

The TV-and-film contingent brings plenty of face recognition: David Corenswet (Superman ), Jeff Probst (Survivor), Rachel Dratch (Saturday Night Live), Yellowstone-verse alums Brandon Sklenar (1923 ) and Isabel May (1883), plus Ciara Miller from Summer House. Off Campus co-stars Belmont Cameli and Ella Bright round out the scripted side. MTV hasn’t assigned specific categories to each presenter yet.

The night’s big swings

Madonna is opening the broadcast, with Snoop Dogg taking on his first VMA hosting gig. Two marquee honors are set: Nirvana will receive the Video Vanguard Award, and Taylor Swift is being celebrated with the inaugural Artist Director Honors.
