What’s New on Netflix in May 2026: Every Movie and Show Coming Your Way

April is basically out the door, which means it is time to line up what you are watching in May. Netflix just dropped its May 2026 slate and it is stacked, especially if you are in the mood for movies. We are talking a buffet that swings from stone-cold classics like 'The Breakfast Club' and 'Schindler's List' to proudly weird stuff like 'Under the Skin', plus the hugely underrated 'Starship Troopers'. TV still shows up with some interesting drops (all three seasons of 'La Brea' land Day 1), but yeah, movies own this month.

Netflix is also leaning hard into live programming again. There are multiple Kevin Hart events, a headline-grabbing Ronda Rousey vs. Gina Carano live fight night (with a lead-up special), and a whole Canadian F1 weekend streaming live on the service — but only in Canada, which Netflix helpfully tags with '(CA)'.
