West Wilson is finally spilling on Summer House’s explosive season 10 reunion, revealing on his Show Me Something podcast with WNBA star Sophie Cunningham that filming was brutal, friendships were tested, and he had to own his part in the chaos.

Summer House season 10 has been messy on-screen, but apparently filming the reunion was even rougher. West Wilson just unpacked it all on his podcast, and yeah, the fallout from his thing with Amanda Batula is still very much a live wire.

West on the reunion: therapy, but make it brutal

On the Monday, May 5 episode of his podcast 'Show Me Something' (the one he cohosts with WNBA star Sophie Cunningham), West, 31, admitted the reunion was brutal because the hurt is real and it involves people he actually cares about. He says he knows he caused damage with friends while starting a new relationship with Amanda, 34, and he does not sugarcoat how much that sucks.

'It is the darkest form of therapy. You do not normally get that much feedback on how your actions impact other people.'

He says getting through the taping felt like one step in a longer process, and now he is focused on doing the boring-but-necessary work: learning from it and actually showing up better for his friends. Translation: no grand gestures, just time and effort.

About that leaked audio

If you heard those reunion audio clips floating around, West addressed that too. The recording captured a heated exchange between him, Amanda, her estranged husband Kyle Cooke, and West's ex Ciara Miller — who, to make the triangle even sharper, was close friends with Amanda before Amanda and West started dating.

West says he does not believe anyone on stage leaked it and points to the audio crew as the only place it realistically could have come from. According to him, Bravo investigated, identified the alleged culprit, and fired them, but the network has not publicly named the person. He also said this basically never happens and that Bravo, famously buttoned up, is probably f***ing furious. For the avoidance of doubt, he made it clear it was not him.

Where things stand with Amanda and Kyle

West and Amanda confirmed they are dating in March, months after Amanda announced she was separating from Kyle, 43, following four years of marriage. When West and Amanda finally went public, they framed it as clarifying something people had already been speculating about; they said it was new, they were not trying to hide it, and they needed some private space to process the complicated friend-group dynamics before speaking up.

As for the reunion itself, Kyle has publicly said West did not have Amanda's back that day. Make of that what you will — it lines up with the general vibe that everyone is still sorting out who owes what support to whom now that the relationships have shifted.

Ciara weighs in

Ciara, 30, recently told Glamour that living this out in public stung in an extra way, especially watching a version of her life play out on TV while real life was changing underneath it. She described the whole experience as a major head trip. Kyle has used the same language about West and Amanda's romance — not exactly subtle feelings all around.

Quick timeline, for anyone trying to keep this straight

  • Amanda and Kyle separate after four years of marriage.
  • March: West and Amanda confirm they are a couple.
  • Season 10 reunion tapes; it is tense, with confrontations involving West, Amanda, Kyle, and Ciara.
  • Leaked audio from the taping hits the internet; Bravo launches a full investigation.
  • On his May 5 podcast, West says Bravo found the alleged leaker in the audio department and fired them, but did not release the name.
  • West says he is trying to repair friendships and learn from the mess; Kyle maintains West did not back Amanda at the reunion.

Bottom line: this is messy even by Bravo standards, and the behind-the-scenes wrinkle of a reunion audio leak is wild. West is owning his part (at least in words) and says the only way this turns into anything positive is if he actually gets better at the friend part. We will see how that plays on camera — and off.
