Tour The Last House: The real locations behind Netflix’s new thriller
Netflix’s new survivalist sci‑fi The Last House keeps its characters stuck at home, but the cameras didn’t — filming happened well beyond that front door.
Rather than hunt for real houses, the production built the family ’s entire suburban home on London soundstages to keep the pressure airtight. Filming on The Last House unfolded in a fully controlled set designed to trap a family of four as days stretch into years, food runs low and an invisible barrier won’t let anyone out.
Production ran from late March through early June 2025 across stages in London, with additional studio builds at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire. Post wrapped on March 11, 2026 , and Netflix has set a global premiere for later this summer.
