Industry forecasts point to a domestic opening in the $230 million–$250 million range, with some bullish estimates reaching as high as $300 million, putting it within striking distance of Spider-Man: No Way Home’s $260.1 million franchise- best start.
Advance ticket sales are reportedly among the strongest since theaters roared back, and response to the latest trailer has only juiced demand. Even if it lands just shy of that record, it would still be a large win for Sony and Marvel after a patchier run.
As for Avengers: Doomsday, Holland’s involvement hasn’t been officially locked in based on available information.
