‘The Gentleman’ season 3 welcomes new faces to the Netflix crime drama
Netflix’s crime drama The Gentlemen is stacking its Season 3 cast with fresh faces — Hollywood names alongside acclaimed Brits — and you’ll want to see who made it.
Filming has moved beyond country estates: cameras are rolling in the U.K. and Morocco as Eddie Horniman and Susie Glass chase a high-roller casino venture in the Middle East—a play that drags their very British enterprise onto a much riskier, international board.
Filming is underway in the U.K. and Morocco.
New faces
Eight new actors are joining The Gentlemen for Season 3, a mix of Guy Ritchie veterans, franchise heavy-hitters and rising names. Among them: a mini–Lord of the Rings reunion and a couple of familiar collaborators from Ritchie’s world.
- Robert Carlyle — Trainspotting; The Full Monty
- Elijah Wood — The Lord of the Rings; Yellowjackets; Come to Daddy
- Orlando Bloom — The Lord of the Rings; Pirates of the Caribbean
- Dexter Fletcher — Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels; director of Rocketman and Bohemian Rhapsody
- Bruna Marquezine — Blue Beetle
- Ed Speleers — Downton Abbey; Outlander; You
- Saffron Burrows — You; Boston Legal; Star Trek: Strange New Worlds
- Bugzy Malone — Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre
Wood and Bloom’s arrival brings a bit of Middle-earth symmetry to Ritchie’s underworld, while Fletcher and Bugzy Malone extend the filmmaker’s ongoing on-screen ties. Netflix hasn’t revealed who these newcomers are playing yet.
Who’s back
Season 3 brings back the core power players alongside a few scene-stealers from the first two seasons.
- Theo James — Eddie Horniman
- Kaya Scodelario — Susie Glass
- Ray Winstone
- Joely Richardson
- Vinnie Jones
- Jasmine Blackborow
- Harry Goodwins
- Benjamin Clementine
- Maya Jama
A key exit
One notable absence: Daniel Ings won’t return as Freddy Horniman. Ings recently told HATC Magazine that Freddy’s ending felt like closure, and the show is now moving forward without Eddie’s chaos-agent older brother—whose disasters often fueled the tension (and dark comedy ) around the family business.
As for other casting chatter, despite a flurry of rumor-mill reports, Meghan Markle is not expected to join the series.
The Gentlemen streams on Netflix in the U.S. A Season 3 release date hasn’t been announced.
