Expect Pedro Pascal’s schedule to explode, with several high-profile movie projects lining up for their shot.

Tony Gilroy ’s character drama Behemoth! is up first, fresh off a Centerpiece slot at the New York Film Festival on October 2. Searchlight Pictures releases it in theaters on December 4, 2026 ; the film runs about 125 minutes and is rated R.

Pedro Pascal plays Alex Serian, a former child prodigy who returns to Los Angeles to untangle family business while paying the bills as a Hollywood session cellist. He’s on screen in nearly every scene, and he started taking cello lessons before the project was even locked.

In Alex’s orbit:

A heavyweight trio anchors the score at the center of the story:

  • James Newton Howard
  • Alan Silvestri
  • Michael Giacchino
Two Pascal movies arrive just 14 days apart: December 4 and December 18, 2026.

Back-to-back Marvel

Avengers: Doomsday lands on December 18, 2026, reuniting directors Anthony and Joe Russo with the MCU for the first time since Avengers: Endgame. Filming has wrapped, and the Phase 6 tentpole pits a packed roster of heroes against Doctor Doom — played by Robert Downey Jr., a twist that sent fans into theory overdrive.

Pascal returns as Reed Richards (Mister Fantastic), continuing from The Fantastic Four: First Steps in 2025. The ensemble is crowded, with familiar faces and a few legends stepping in:

  • Pedro Pascal — Reed Richards (Mister Fantastic)
  • Robert Downey Jr. — Doctor Doom
  • Vanessa Kirby
  • Joseph Quinn
  • Ebon Moss-Bachrach
  • Chris Evans
  • Chris Hemsworth
  • Anthony Mackie
  • Florence Pugh
  • Patrick Stewart
  • Ian McKellen

Todd Haynes’ De Noche

Next up in 2027 is De Noche, Todd Haynes’ 1930s Los Angeles noir romance, which he co-wrote with Jonathan Raymond. The project was first developed with Joaquin Phoenix before Pascal stepped in; filming took place mainly in Mexico starting around March 2026. It’s now in post-production with an R rating and no firm release date yet.

Pascal stars as Richard Rent, a volatile LAPD detective who falls into a forbidden affair with a boarding-school teacher played by Danny Ramirez. Targeted by the city’s political machine, the couple flees to the Pacific coast jungles of Mexico, where the romance only intensifies. It’s described as a frank, queer love story with noir echoes of Chinatown, and Ramirez has praised his on-screen chemistry with Pascal.

Secret Wars on deck

The year closes with Avengers: Secret Wars, arriving December 17, 2027. The Russos direct again with Kevin Feige producing; the finale is set to close the Multiverse Saga, reportedly pulling from both the classic comics and the 2015 run for Battleworld-scale chaos and a post-shake-up MCU.

Pascal is confirmed to return as Reed Richards, with the full Fantastic Four expected to play a major role and some reports even pointing to Franklin Richards. The cast should overlap heavily with Doomsday — including Robert Downey Jr., Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Anthony Mackie, and Florence Pugh — alongside a wider ensemble of legacy and multiversal characters. Final rosters will lock closer to release, depending in part on who makes it out of Doomsday.
