The Boys has never met a line it did not want to stomp on, but the latest fan theory making the rounds is gnarly even by this show’s standards: Homelander might eat a baby. Yes, that’s the pitch. There is a sorta-kinda version of something like this in the comics, which is why the idea is not coming out of nowhere, but putting it on screen would be a whole different beast.

Why this is blowing up right now

The discourse has gone full tinfoil this week. Reddit threads are spiraling into gross-out one-upmanship just for the shock of typing it, but buried in the chaos are a few theories that actually track. The word people keep landing on for what Homelander does next is this: 'irredeemable.' And when that is the bar, yeah, the baby thing sadly does not feel impossible.

How fans think it could actually happen

The versions that make the most narrative sense all revolve around infants who have already been dosed with something fans are calling V1. One of the cleaner pitches going around lays it out like this:

'We’re getting a 'Homelander finds the V1 facility alongside a bunch of babies in cribs that have already had their dose of V1, and he will kill them all because he is afraid he is obsolete and nothing special if they exist' scene.'

From there, the speculation escalates to him literally eating those V1-dosed babies to 'absorb' their power. To be crystal clear: that leap is fan chatter, not anything confirmed.
