Met Gala countdown: Beyoncé, Nicole Kidman, Sabrina Carpenter and more are set to deliver peak glamour under the Costume Art theme and Fashion is Art dress code when the red carpet rolls out Monday, May 4.

The Met Gala is almost here, which means it is time to start guessing who is going to nail the theme and who is going to pretend the theme never happened. This year is all about the museum vibes: the 2026 event is themed Costume Art, and the dress code is literally spelled out as

"Fashion is Art"

The party lands Monday, May 4, at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. Beyoncé, Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams, and (as always) Anna Wintour are serving as co-chairs. Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez Bezos are the honorary chairs, which is a very Met Gala mix of fashion, fame, and money.

Vogue is rolling out wall-to-wall coverage again: Emma Chamberlain returns as Red Carpet Correspondent, while Cara Delevingne, Ashley Graham, and La La Anthony will tag-team the official livestream, including backstage check-ins.

On the guest front, the list skews starry and, yes, heavy on people actually labeled as co-chairs this year (the titles are a bit loose between co-chairs, host committee, and on-camera crew). One odd note worth flagging: a blurb floating around says Zoë Kravitz might bring her fiancé Harry Styles. That pairing is… not a thing. Consider that a glitch in the matrix, not a spoiler.
