Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce made a PDA-packed London date night of it, stepping out of Indian restaurant Gymkhana hand in hand on Thursday, May 7, in coordinated looks, according to photos obtained by TMZ.

File this under: extremely famous people doing extremely normal things. Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce slipped out for a low-key dinner in London, and yes, there were coordinated outfits, public hand-holding, and a little timeline update on the whole wedding situation.

The London sighting

On Thursday, May 7, the pair (both 36) were photographed leaving Gymkhana, the swanky Indian spot in London. TMZ ran the pics: they walked out holding hands, looking like they absolutely knew cameras were nearby and were fine with it.

  • Where: Gymkhana, London
  • When: Thursday, May 7
  • Vibe: Matching charcoal blazers
  • Fits: She wore a black floral dress under the blazer; he went with trousers and a black T-shirt

From picky eater to Gymkhana regular?

The food choice might not be random. On the May 6 episode of their New Heights podcast, Jason Kelce teased that Taylor has pushed Travis to expand his taste buds. Travis leaned into it, joking that he has been trying to look a little tougher by finally sampling dishes he used to skip. Translation: the man is ordering beyond chicken tenders now.

How we got here: the engagement

Quick refresher: the Kansas City Chiefs tight end proposed in August 2025 after two years of dating. Taylor announced it with a caption that basically broke Instagram in half:

"Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married."

She paired it with photos of him down on one knee, as one does.

Career mode first, wedding mode second

Since the engagement, they have been enjoying the high of the moment while grinding on work. Back in October 2025 on The Graham Norton Show, Taylor said she was focused on rolling out her latest album, Life of a Showgirl, and that wedding planning would really kick in after that. Her take: the only truly stressful weddings are the tiny ones where you are agonizing over who makes the cut.

Where the planning stands now

Per an April cover story, the two reportedly ping-ponged between inviting everyone and keeping it tight. As of now, they have scaled it down. So, less enormous blowout, more curated guest list. Honestly, smart call.

Rory McIlroy's unsolicited-but-good advice

Meanwhile, golfer Rory McIlroy offered Travis a snapshot of what that big day can feel like, comparing it to sitting in a room full of legends at the Masters Champions Dinner last month:

"It’s an incredible night to be sitting in that room... It’s amazing to have all these people in the same room. You’re just sitting there and it’s surreal. It’s unbelievable. The only thing I can compare it to is your wedding day."

Travis' response was simple: he cannot wait.

The takeaway

They are eating well, dressing in sync, and slowly narrowing the guest list. Nothing dramatic, just a steady march toward the aisle — with better entrees along the way.
