Summer House Star Lindsay Hubbard Opens Up About In the City Drama — What Really Went Down
Buckle up: Summer House spinoff In The City will get even messier than its trailer hints, Lindsay Hubbard teases, promising sharper drama, wilder twists, and chaos you won’t see coming.
Bravo is taking Summer House into the off-season with In the City, and Lindsay Hubbard swears the drama dial is not stuck at 'trailer level.' If anything, she says the preview undersold it. Also, fair warning: some of the so-called newbies are actually her longtime inner-circle, which changes the vibe in a good, messy way.
'It gets crazier than the trailer, if you can imagine.'
What Lindsay is saying (and where she said it)
Lindsay, 39, chatted about the spinoff on Tuesday, April 14, at The Daily Front Row's 10th Annual Fashion Los Angeles Awards, which were sponsored by DAOU Vineyards. Speaking to Us Weekly on the carpet, she made it clear viewers are not prepared. Her angle: the 'new' faces on In the City are actually old friends to her — people she has known for years — which is why the chemistry (and the chaos) hits fast.
The setup
In the City follows life in Manhattan for the Summer House orbit in between those Hamptons weekends. Lindsay reunites with Summer House names you know — Kyle Cooke, Amanda Batula, Danielle Olivera and Andrea Denver — and folds in the people she actually runs around New York with when they are not lugging coolers to Montauk.
The cast
- Kyle Cooke
- Amanda Batula
- Danielle Olivera
- Andrea Denver
- Nick Barber (married to Lindsay's close friend Yvonne)
- Katie DeLuca
- Georgina Ferzli (a single mom and one of Lindsay's best friends)
- Whitney Fransway
- Eoin Heavey
- Kenny Martin
- Gavin Moseley
- Yvonne Najor (one of Lindsay's day-ones)
- Lexi Sundin
Why she thinks it works
Lindsay says it is rare a show shocks her while she is filming it, but mid-season she had that 'oh, this is going to be good' moment. Her words, not mine: they shot as if it were a 25-episode season. Translation: there is a ton of story packed in. As for specifics, she is keeping the lid on it and telling everyone to just watch and see.
Where Lindsay is at these days
If you have been watching Summer House season 10, you know Lindsay is now a mom — her daughter Gemma is 16 months old. The Hubb House founder welcomed Gemma in December 2024 with now-ex Turner Kufe, and the two are coparenting. Dating-wise, she says it is not exactly top priority, but she is trying to make room for it. The checklist is simple: someone fun with an actual sex drive who can hang at a dive bar, distract her from the noise, and — her words boiled down — be hot. That is the energy.
Premiere info
