This week she shut down a fan account trying to link her past with Austen Kroll to the current Amanda Batula/West Wilson drama. Lindsay shuts down the comparison
An Instagram account called Unhinged and on Camera suggested Lindsay had basically done to Ciara what people think Amanda is doing now. Lindsay was not amused. On Thursday, April 16, she jumped into the comments to correct the record:
'No no no ... let’s stop right there. If you remember correctly, I’m the one who had history with Austen. And then I came into Winter House late, not knowing what I was walking into. Get your facts straight before you start reporting how things went down.'
She also added that nothing irritates her more than bad reporting. The account pushed back, saying they weren’t reporters, it was just an observation about another Summer House triangle where Ciara felt overlooked — not a deep, one-to-one match with Amanda’s situation. They said they respect that it’s Lindsay’s real life and, if she doesn’t think the stories line up, that’s fair.
Lindsay doubled down: the two scenarios are not the same, she was the one with prior history with Austen, and if you’re going to comment on something from six years ago, at least get the facts right. She accused the account of admitting they have no ethical standards while taking a swing at her character without solid info.
Reunion plans: West and Amanda are on the docket
Expect all of this to come up at the Summer House season 10 reunion. Lindsay told Us Weekly she isn’t nervous — she thinks it’s been a strong season for her so far. She also reminded fans that there’s still half the season to air, plus another show, In the City, coming after.
According to Us Weekly, the cast is showing up with a plan: they’re going to unpack everything about Amanda and West, specifically the timeline of when things started and how serious it is. One insider said everyone wants the two of them to say on camera when it began and where it stands now.
