Summer House star Kyle Cooke is finally laying out what 2026 really looks like—personally and financially—after separating from estranged wife Amanda Batula, who’s now dating their costar West Wilson, in a candid sit-down with host Jason Tartick.

Kyle Cooke just gave a very un-PR update on life in 2026 post-split from Amanda Batula — who, yes, is now dating their Summer House castmate West Wilson. It is messy, even by Bravo standards.

Where Kyle is at right now

On the Monday, May 11 episode of Jason Tartick’s 'Trading Secrets' podcast, Jason asked the question everyone would: how’s life, and is 2026 what you thought it would be?

'Not so much.'

Kyle, 43, called the year a roller-coaster and said April in particular was rough. He sounded ready to move on: people have been checking in, he appreciates it, and he is clearly turning the page. He also told Jason — who is 37 — that if you had asked whether he saw any of this coming, the answer was no.

'If you were to ask me if I saw any of this coming, absolutely not.'

One eyebrow-raising note he dropped: Jason was with Amanda, 34, in Miami in January — just days after Kyle and Amanda announced their split on Instagram.

How we got here (short version)

  • January: Kyle and Amanda confirm they’ve separated after four years of marriage. Shortly after that announcement, Jason is in Miami with Amanda.
  • Two months later: Amanda and West, 31, post a joint Instagram statement saying they are more than friends.
  • The wrinkle: West previously dated Ciara Miller — Amanda’s former best friend and Summer House costar — which did not go over quietly.
  • Earlier in the season: About two months before he and Amanda went public, West had already weighed in on Kyle and Amanda’s marriage.
  • April: The Summer House season 10 reunion tapes. The next day, audio leaks online of Amanda and Ciara arguing about West. Bravo launches an investigation and, a few days later, says it’s concluded.

The reunion blowback

Once the audio made the rounds, fans zeroed in on West’s silence while he and Amanda were getting pressed by their castmates. Kyle’s take: West did not have Amanda’s back.

A Bravo blog, Bravoandcocktails, summed up the frustration on Threads, saying West had asked on his own podcast for any criticism or 'heat' to be directed at him instead of Amanda — and then stayed quiet in all three leaked audio clips. Kyle jumped in the comments and did not hold back:

'He’s all PR and zero intention or integrity. The reunion was a brutal beat down and I can’t recall a moment when he had Amanda’s back.'

What to watch for

The season 10 reunion is set to dig into all of the above — the new relationship, the Ciara dynamic, and who did or didn’t speak up when it counted.

Summer House airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
