Calah Jackson breaks her silence to accuse ex Steven McBee Jr. of abuse, speaking out after he alleged recent girlfriend Allie Ecklund cheated on him at Stagecoach 2026 and saying she has spent the past year focused on healing and moving forward.

Well, that escalated fast. On Monday, April 27, a fresh round of McBee-world drama spilled across Instagram: Steven McBee Jr. accused his current girlfriend, Allie Ecklund, of cheating at Stagecoach 2026 — and a few hours later, his ex Calah Jackson broke a year of silence with abuse allegations and a stack of alleged texts.

The quick version

  • Steven McBee Jr., 33, and Calah Jackson, 33, met in 2021 on 'Joe Millionaire: For Richer or Poorer,' then dated for three years.
  • They split last year (2025 ) while filming season 2 of 'The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys.'
  • Monday, April 27, 2026: Steven posts that his current girlfriend, Allie Ecklund, 29, cheated on him at Stagecoach over the weekend.
  • That same day, Calah posts a lengthy statement accusing Steven of emotional and verbal abuse and shares alleged text messages from their relationship.

Calah breaks her silence

Jackson says she intentionally kept quiet for over a year after season 2 aired because she was trying to move on. But seeing new receipts fly this week pushed her to speak up. In her words:

'My truth deserves to be heard too.'

In her statement, Jackson alleges that (1) she endured emotional and verbal abuse during their three-year relationship, and (2) her reputation took a public beating thanks to what she calls false narratives. She says she tried to stay out of the mess post-breakup because she felt completely defeated by how things played on the show.

The alleged texts

Jackson also posted screenshots she says are texts from McBee Jr., sent about a month after her sister died. The exchange starts with her saying she was moving back to Texas and wanted to bring their dog. His alleged response demanded proof of an apartment application — and then went even harder.

'I want an app filled out and turned in by the end of the weekend. I’ll have movers lined up the SECOND it ’s available. I’m so f***ing tired of your bitchiness and you blaming it on your sister’s death. You were a bitch beforehand, you’re a bitch now and you’ll forever be a bitch.'

Jackson says that message landed one month after her sister passed. A spokesperson for 'The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys' has been asked for comment.

Meanwhile, Stagecoach

Earlier on Monday, McBee Jr. went on Instagram to claim Ecklund cheated at Stagecoach 2026. He admitted he did not know the full story, but described seeing hand holding, grinding, dancing, and a drunken afterparty situation. Ecklund answered on her Stories the same day, calling the public post sad and unfair — especially, she said, since she has protected Steven multiple times during their relationship — and pointed out he blasted everything online before they even talked.

Where that leaves everyone

It is a lot, and it is all very public. The timeline here is hard to ignore: Steven’s Stagecoach accusation hits, then Calah unloads a year’s worth of receipts and allegations. If you have followed their saga across two reality shows, none of this will feel out of left field — but the alleged text tied to a family death is especially brutal. We will see if the show or Steven responds to Calah’s claims beyond what is already on Instagram.
