Sandra Bullock’s compliment floored Aimee Garcia — “I could die”
Aimee Garcia revealed that the best compliment she’s gotten came from Sandra Bullock — and you’ll want to hear what Bullock told her.
On the Inside of You podcast with Michael Rosenbaum, Aimee Garcia shared the story of meeting Sandra Bullock early in her career — and getting a compliment she still carries around. Garcia said the encounter happened years ago on the set of the ABC sitcom George Lopez, where Bullock was an executive producer and a key champion of the show.
According to Garcia, Bullock told her she was a younger version of herself — a moment that left Garcia completely floored.
“I could die,”
Garcia said with a laugh as she recounted the exchange. For viewers who’ve followed her since, the reaction is easy to picture: Garcia’s been a steady presence across fan favorites like Lucifer, Dexter, and The Walking Dead: Dead City.
Passing the crown
In a separate recent appearance on Kylie Kelce’s podcast Not Gonna Lie, Bullock talked about the “America’s Sweetheart” label and named a few people she thinks could wear it next. Her short list included:
- Emma Stone
- Lily Collins
- Her Practical Magic 2 co-stars
