Sadie Sink has weighed in on Ryan Reynolds’ viral ‘Jeanpool’ Deadpool suit from Comic-Con 2026 — and her take is refreshingly blunt.

On the carpet at the Los Angeles premiere of Spider- Man: Brand New Day , ExtraTV showed Sadie Sink the viral Comic-Con clip of Ryan Reynolds strutting in a denim take on the Deadpool suit — the jokey “Jeanpool” look that lit up social feeds. Sink smiled and kept it coy.

“I actually didn't see that. No, I didn't see that.”

The “Jeanpool” bit — unveiled at San Diego Comic-Con 2026 — was classic Reynolds: a head-to-toe jean riff on Deadpool’s red-and-black that played like a live-action meme. Fans promptly tried to connect the gag to anything X-Men- or MCU- related, and, by extension, to Sink, whose role in Brand New Day has been kept under wraps.

At the same premiere, Sink also sidestepped a buzzy rumor kicked up by the trailers — that her character might have mind-control abilities. She declined to get specific, keeping the mystery intact while the movie rolls out.

From Texas stage to blockbuster buzz

Sink was born April 16, 2002, in Brenham, Texas, to Casey and Lori Sink, and grew up with four siblings — Jacey, Caleb, Spencer and Mitchell. She caught the acting bug early in Houston community theater, a path that led to Broadway by middle school.

  • Community theater (Houston) — White Christmas; Annie
  • Broadway — Annie (2012, title role)
  • Broadway — The Audience (played young Queen Elizabeth II opposite Helen Mirren )
  • TV — The Americans

She’s said she studied Julia Louis-Dreyfus’s Elaine Benes to hold her own in male-heavy ensembles. Before Stranger Things , she’d already crossed paths with future co-stars Gaten Matarazzo and Caleb McLaughlin during their Broadway days, long before they reunited on screen.

The ExtraTV exchange took place during the Spider-Man: Brand New Day Los Angeles premiere. No additional details about Sink’s character were revealed.
