Sadie Sink, best known for her role in Stranger Things, is set to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Spider- Man: Brand New Day. Surprisingly, she first learned about her involvement not from the studio, but from the internet. During an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Sink revealed she stumbled upon online chatter about her casting just two days before Marvel made it official.

"I found out through online theories,"

she shared.

"Before I got cast in Spider-Man, there was speculation online that said, 'Sadie Sink is gonna be in the new Spider-Man,' I was like, 'I am?' Sure enough, two days later, they asked me to do it! So yeah, those theories, there's sometimes some truth to it!"

Speculation Swirls Around Sink's Secret Role

Details about Sink's character in the upcoming film are still tightly guarded. Fans have been busy theorizing, tossing around names like a new take on Mary Jane Watson, Rachel Cole—known as a Punisher protégé—or even a fresh version of Jean Grey from the X-Men universe. The mystery has only fueled more excitement and debate online.

Sink herself admits the constant rumors can be overwhelming.

"It's torture! There's so much speculation,"

she said, describing how new theories seem to pop up every week.

"I feel like there's a new character every week. I tell people, like the people I know."

Despite the buzz, her close friends and family have managed to keep any details under wraps.

Fan Theories and Set Photo Clues

Among the most popular fan guesses is Rachel Cole, especially since Jon Bernthal 's Frank Castle is confirmed to appear in the movie. Some leaked set photos have even shown Sink in camouflage gear, adding fuel to the speculation that she could be playing a character with military ties.

With the film's release date set for July 31, anticipation continues to build. Marvel fans are keeping a close eye on every hint and leak, eager to find out who Sink will portray in the next chapter of Spider-Man's story.

In the meantime, audiences can look forward to a packed slate of Marvel movies and shows, with plenty of surprises still in store.
