On the Resident Evil premiere red carpet, Zach Cregger said his next movie, The Flood, is already casting and in “soft prep,” with full prep slated for February and cameras set to roll next summer. He described it as an original sci‑fi project he’s been itching to make.
“It’s science fiction, and it’s probably my most disturbing film. ”
Cregger added that he “loves” the movie and considers it “really, really special.” He also noted it isn’t technically a horror film, though it will lean hard on horror elements.
