Season 1 of Ransom Canyon went out on a bittersweet note, the kind where everyone stares at the horizon and nobody is okay. We were left wondering: does Quinn actually choose Staten, and what happens to his land after all that chaos? Season 2 is finally here to answer those very specific, very messy questions — and yes, it brings more drama with it.
Where Season 2 picks up
We jump ahead six months. Staten, after discovering the gut-punch truth in the finale and losing his role as trustee, is now moving to take back control of his family legacy at the Double K Ranch. Because of course that situation is clean and simple. Meanwhile, Quinn comes home after her stretch in New York, trying to figure out what she wants next.
Both of them are staring down big life choices while dealing with old feelings that clearly did not pack up and leave with the Season 1 credits. The show is very much asking: can this romance survive all of it?
"He is willing to accept a lot of the responsibility for what happened," Josh Duhamel told Netflix Tudum. "My character is not as sullen as he was last year. He is much more out of his shell. He has fun."
