Netflix starts production on The Inbetweeners 3 after 12 years
Brace yourself: the lads return to Netflix, and a fresh wave of gloriously awkward teenage chaos is inbound.
The first look wastes no time getting filthy. A 40‑second teaser drops us into a dusty storage unit, where four very familiar silhouettes pry open a corrugated door and step into the light. Parked like a bad memory is Simon’s mangled Fiat Cinquecento Hawaii —mismatched red door and all—last seen taking a dip in a lake on the TV show. The lads prod the ignition, endure a symphony of sputters, then finally chug off, leaving one cheeky clue finger‑scrawled on the rear window: “3.”
Filming on The Inbetweeners 3 is underway, and Netflix has already put the gang back on the road with that teaser, posted to its UK and Ireland social accounts. It ’s the first proper reunion for the foul‑mouthed foursome since the 2014 sequel sent them to Australia, and the vibe—right down to the resurrected rust bucket—suggests nothing’s gotten classier with age.
