Negative reviews didn’t stop All’s Fair, says Kim Kardashian: “History has proven”
All’s Fair took a critical beating, but Kim Kardashian is calling it a success — and her case for the win isn’t what you’d expect.
At the Season 2 premiere of All’s Fair in New York, held at Highline Studios, Kim Kardashian leaned right into the show’s bumpy road from early drubbings to Hulu hit. On the carpet, she was asked by Variety what the roller-coaster reception says about the series’ success.
“I think history is proven that c********** create success, but I think it just shows that you could make something just for the watchers and for the fans to enjoy themselves, and it doesn't have to be critically acclaimed,”
The legal drama ’s critics score started rough — it debuted at 0% on Rotten Tomatoes, later ticking up to 5% — even as audiences warmed to it. On Hulu, it opened at No. 1 on the platform’s Top 15 and held that spot for its first three days.
Standing beside Kardashian, Sarah Paulson backed the point, saying some shows can simply exist for viewers to enjoy rather than chase awards attention.

From creator Ryan Murphy, All’s Fair is a glossy legal drama for Hulu, with Kardashian serving as executive producer and appearing on-screen alongside a stacked ensemble. The cast turned out for the New York event, including returning heavy hitters and a notable new face this season.
