Name-dropping Harry Styles, Chris Olsen wants 'someone humble' in a TV adaptation of his memoir
TikTok celebrity Chris Olsen has a very specific pick to play him in his autobiography—and it’s probably the first name that popped into your head.
Asked who should play him if his life ever hits the screen, Chris Olsen didn’t hesitate to aim high — then quickly undercut himself. The TikTok favorite, now an author at 28, said he’d love to see Harry Styles take the lead in a hypothetical biopic, before adding he’d actually prefer an unknown to get the shot.
“It would have to be someone humble like Harry Styles.”
That’s how Olsen put it in an interview with Variety. After the laugh, he clarified he’d want a newcomer in the role if his story ever becomes a movie.
Olsen’s new memoir, I Think My Therapist Hates Me, tracks his struggle with substance abuse and how he put his life back together. He’s said the most gratifying response so far has been the flood of messages from readers who are dealing with similar issues and found the book helpful.
