At Create & Cultivate’s “On Her Own Terms: Halle Berry on Menopause, Aging, & Women’s Health” event in downtown Los Angeles on September 20, Halle Berry opened up about her relationship with Zendaya — just six days after Zendaya nodded to Berry’s signature look at the 78th Emmy Awards. Berry said their connection isn’t just public shout-outs; they actually keep in touch.
“I do speak to her, and I have to say she is the sweetest and my little sweetheart.”
Berry told People she’d love to find the right project to work on with Zendaya and has repeatedly floated the idea of playing her mother on screen. The admiration has been mutual for years, but the recent Emmys homage put their off-screen bond back in the spotlight.
