Family, farmland, and frayed tempers fuel The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys, where sorting the McBee family tree is half the drama and eldest brother Steven hustles to keep the ranch running—and his siblings in line.

Here is the quick-and-dirty guide to who is who on The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys, and why season 2 and beyond feel less like a chill ranch hang and more like a family saga with legal filings. It is a show about cows and crops, sure, but it is mostly about a family trying to hold a business together while real life refuses to cooperate.

'My job here on the ranch is to make sure that this place runs as smoothly as it can, and to try and keep my brothers out of trouble.'

The show, the ranch, the timeline

The series follows the McBee family in Gallatin, Missouri, where Steven 'Steve' McBee launched McBee Farm & Cattle back in 1998 after piecing together land over time. By 2024, after Steve stepped away, his four sons — Steven Jr., Jesse, Cole, and Brayden — took over day-to-day operations, with eldest son Steven Jr. sliding into the CEO chair. Season 2 (promoted in June 2025 ) pulled mom Kristi back into the picture after years away, and season 3 got the green light in fall 2025 with a premiere on the books for 2026. The show airs on Bravo.

What happened with Steve Sr. and the feds

Once Steve exited the ranch during season 1 (a major car wash deal blew up, and he walked), the real storm hit. In November 2024, he pleaded guilty to a federal crop insurance fraud scheme tied to underreported corn and soybean yields in 2018, with additional accusations for 2019 and 2020. The plea deal set restitution to be decided later; estimates pegged it north of $3.1 million, with the government saying losses topped $4 million. Heading into his October 2025 sentencing, the maximum penalty on the table was 30 years without parole. The final outcome: two years in federal prison, two more years of supervised release, and $4,022,124 in restitution. He was ordered to self-surrender by 2 p.m. on December 1, 2025. Season 2 shows the family adjusting in that window — including Kristi stepping back in to steady the place.

Who is who (family, partners, and the orbiting drama )

  • Steven 'Steve' McBee (patriarch) — Founded the ranch in 1998. Married to Kristi for 28 years; they divorced in 2021. Pleaded guilty in Nov. 2024 to federal crop insurance fraud over the family’s 2018 corn and soybean numbers, with related accusations in 2019 and 2020. Sentenced Oct. 2025 to two years in prison, plus two years supervised release; $4,022,124 restitution; self-surrendered Dec. 1, 2025. Left the ranch during season 1 after a car wash deal fell apart.
  • Kristi McBee (matriarch) — Mom to Steven Jr., Jesse, Cole, and Brayden. Split from Steve in 2021, in part because of his relationship with Galyna Saltkovska. Returned to help run the farm during season 2 while Steve dealt with his case and sentencing.
  • Steven McBee Jr. (eldest son, CEO) — Took over running McBee Farm & Cattle after his dad left. Reality TV cross-over: starred on Joe Millionaire: For Richer or Poorer in 2022, where he met on-off girlfriend Calah Jackson. After many breakups and makeups, he says they ended things in late 2024. He later dated model Allie Eklund, going public in Nov. 2025; their relationship plays out in season 3 (2026). They split in April 2026 after he accused her of cheating at Stagecoach; she denied it and posted screenshots of alleged texts where he called her a 'slut.' She added: 'I’d like this to end here... I plan on taking time to process and move forward.'
  • Jesse McBee (second son, head of construction) — High school sweethearts with Alli Ventresca; engaged in the season 1 finale, married in Missouri in Oct. 2024. They welcomed daughter Summer in April 2025. Jesse is the guy keeping projects moving on the ground.
  • Cole McBee (third son, farm manager) — The go-to farmer and a manager on the operation. With girlfriend-turned-fiancee Kacie Adkison, he welcomed daughter Blair in Dec. 2024, proposed in Nov. 2025, and as of March 2026 they are expecting baby No. 2.
  • Brayden McBee (youngest son) — Lived mostly with Kristi after the divorce. Had a long-term girlfriend during season 1 but was single when season 2 started filming. Works on the ranch but shows up on camera less than his brothers.
  • Alli Ventresca (Jesse’s wife) — Nurse practitioner. Married Jesse in Oct. 2024; welcomed daughter Summer in April 2025.
  • Kacie Adkison (Cole’s fiancee) — Met Cole in 2019; they dated on and off for years. Daughter Blair arrived in Dec. 2024; engaged Nov. 2025; pregnancy with baby No. 2 announced March 2026.
  • Calah Jackson (Steven Jr.’s ex) — Met Steven Jr. on Joe Millionaire (aired 2022). Bounced between Missouri and Dallas during season 1. They were back together as season 2 started filming in late summer 2024 but finally split later that year after, per Steven, 'double digits' worth of breakups.
  • Galyna Saltkovska (CFO/COO, Steve’s ex) — Not family, but a major player at the company. Started at McBee Farms, dated Steve after his split from Kristi, lived with him part-time, and climbed to CFO and COO. They separated sometime after season 1 aired (before mid-2024) after he began sleeping with her friend Masha. She remains close with the family and still works alongside them.
  • Allie Eklund (Steven Jr.’s ex) — Started dating Steven Jr. in 2025; appears in season 3 when it premieres in 2026. They broke up in April 2026 amid the Stagecoach fight; she denied cheating and posted receipts, then bowed out with a public note about moving on.

Where this is headed

Season 3, arriving in 2026, brings the post-sentencing fallout, Steven Jr.’s new relationship saga (and its implosion), and more of Kristi back on the ranch. Translation: the cows keep moving, the combines keep rolling, but the family tree is doing just as much heavy lifting as the tractors.
