Daredevil: Born Again signs off on season 2 as the MCU readies a fresh onslaught of films and series, proving Marvel’s juggernaut is nowhere near slowing down.

Daredevil: Born Again season 2 just wrapped, but Marvel is not even pretending to slow down. The TV side of the MCU has been on a solid run lately, and there is a surprisingly packed slate lined up right behind Matt Murdock. Some dates are locked, some are in the 'circling the calendar' zone, and a couple are just blinking 'TBA' for now. Here is what is actually next, with the what, when, and why you should care.

What is coming after Born Again season 2

  • The Punisher: One Last Kill — May 12, 2026 ( Disney+ )
Jon Bernthal is back front and center in a movie- length special after popping up in Born Again season 1. This is the next MCU TV drop after Born Again season 2, and it is teeing up Frank Castle for his next stop on the big screen in Spider- Man: Brand New Day. Expect this one to be grim, loud, and very Frank.
  • X-Men '97 season 2 — mid-2026
Season 1 blew up in a big way, so the follow-up cannot land fast enough. It is a continuation of the classic 90s animated run with the same energy, just sharper. Season 2 is aiming for mid-2026, and Marvel has already put a third season in motion, which tells you how confident they are.
  • Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man season 2 — late 2026
Animated Spidey is sticking with its alternate-universe angle where Norman Osborn mentors Peter Parker. It is not set in the main MCU timeline, but it is still part of the overall Marvel machine and one of the more anticipated returns. Late 2026 is the current target.
  • VisionQuest — late 2026
Remember the dangling Vision thread from WandaVision back in 2021? This finally picks it up. We are revisiting Vision post-resurrection and checking in on where that story actually goes, with Vision back and some other MCU faces joining him. It is basically a deep continuity clean-up, and long overdue.
  • Wonder Man season 2 — date TBA
Yahya Abdul-Mateen II made his MCU debut as Simon Williams in early 2026 and planted Wonder Man as one of the more heavy-hitting new heroes. Season 2 is officially happening, but Marvel has not pinned a date yet.
  • Marvel Zombies season 2 — late 2026 or 2027
Yes, it is coming back even after a pretty mixed first season. The show pulls from the comics and spins out of What If...? by leaning into the whole zombie-apocalypse-in-the-Marvel-Universe thing. No firm premiere yet, but it is most likely late 2026 or sliding into 2027.
  • Daredevil: Born Again season 3 — March 2027 (target)
More red suit. Season 3 is currently pointed at March 2027, bringing back the favorites and picking up right where season 2 leaves off. Expect more street-level chaos and a continued collision course with Kingpin and whoever else is foolish enough to get in the way.

Bottom line: if you felt like Born Again season 2 ended on a high and you are itching for what is next, the queue is stacked. Some of these are locked, others are still wobbly on dates, but the mix of returns, revivals, and long-teased payoffs should keep the pipeline busy for the next year-plus.
