Married! Ross Lynch makes it official at the 'Heartland' premiere
At the Heartland premiere, Ross Lynch confirmed a major life update big enough to make headlines.
At the Los Angeles premiere of Heartland, Ross Lynch quietly made a big personal reveal: he’s married. The former Austin & Ally and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina star confirmed the news to People on the carpet, where he was wearing a gold band on his ring finger. He kept his wife’s identity private and offered no details about their relationship.
“I’m not trying to shy away from that by any means, but I am trying to, you know, my wife’s not very fond of celebrity. So I am trying to be sensitive towards that and respectful to her. But everything’s going well,”
Lynch had hinted that life changes were underway when he popped back onto Instagram on June 28, 2026 with a carousel captioned, “Been a minute, what did I miss?” When a follower pressed him on what fans had overlooked, he replied, “Hahaha A LOT.”
Back to acting
The red-carpet moment also marked Lynch’s return to acting after focusing on music with his brother Rocky in their band The Driver Era. His first screen project back pairs him with Jessica Chastain in the Netflix thriller Heartland, and he says she helped smooth the transition.
“Working with Jessica was funny because, you know, it ’s been a while for me being acting,” he told People. “After a while, when I started getting warmed up, she would give me this nod of approval, which was kind of fun and reassuring.”
About Heartland
Lynch plays Jace Jacobs in the film. Chastain stars as Misty Jones, a former country music star who sets out to find her missing niece. The project brings Lynch back to a dramatic role after his teen-comedy Disney days and his turn as Harvey Kinkle on Netflix.
Heartland premieres on Netflix on November 13, 2026.
