Kyle Calls Out West for Leaving Amanda Hanging at the Summer House Reunion
After Summer House’s season 10 reunion audio ignited backlash, Kyle Cooke calls out West Wilson for staying silent while Amanda Batula was confronted — despite his pledge that the heat should land on him.
Summer House reunion drama, leaked audio, and a cast member calling out another cast member by name — yeah, this one is messy. Here is what actually happened, without the noise.
What set this off
After audio from the season 10 reunion leaked, fans zeroed in on West Wilson staying quiet while Amanda Batula was getting pressed by their costars. The Bravo fan account Bravoandcocktails summed it up on Threads on Tuesday, April 28: West had said on his podcast that any criticism should come to him, not Amanda, and then — in the leaked clips — he barely said a word. Not a great look.
Kyle jumps in
Kyle Cooke, 43, did not hold back. He replied to that Threads post and basically torched West, 31, for the silence and the optics around it during what Kyle called a rough reunion for Amanda, 34.
"He’s all PR and zero intention or integrity. The reunion was a brutal beat down and I can’t recall a moment when he had Amanda’s back."
The romantic math (because it matters here)
The reunion is set to cover Amanda and West’s now-official relationship, which the two confirmed in March after swatting away rumors for a while. Timeline-wise: West was dating Ciara Miller in 2023, and Amanda announced in January that she and Kyle had separated after four years of marriage. So yes, emotions were primed to run high in that room.
About that leak
The audio that sparked all this — specifically of Amanda and Ciara arguing about West — didn’t just appear out of nowhere. Bravo treated it as a serious breach and launched an investigation as soon as it started circulating. Cast members, including KJ Dillard and Kyle, publicly denied any role in the leak while the network dug in.
- Thursday, April 23: The reunion was filmed.
- Friday, April 24: Audio of Amanda and Ciara arguing about West started circulating online. A Bravo spokesperson told Us Weekly the leak was a serious breach of trust and that the network had opened a full investigation.
- During the probe: Kyle posted that Bravo was doing a full-blown cyber investigation and warned whoever leaked it to lawyer up.
- Sunday, April 26: Bravo said the leak was an unauthorized recording distributed by someone involved with the reunion’s production. The network said appropriate action has been taken, there is no evidence any cast member recorded or distributed the audio, and warned everyone to stop posting or amplifying any additional clips that were obtained improperly.
So where does that leave us? West is getting dragged for going quiet after previously saying to aim the heat at him, Kyle is openly calling him out for it, and Bravo says the leak came from behind the camera — not in front of it.
Summer House airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
