Kim Kardashian isn’t quitting her lawyer dreams — the bar is still on her mind
Kim Kardashian isn’t dropping her legal dreams—she’s doubling down, making clear her ambitions reach far beyond the usual celebrity lane.
On the red carpet at the New York City premiere of All’s Fair Season 2, Kim Kardashian said her bar plans are very much alive — and she even put a loose timeline on it. After sitting out several exam windows, she’s now aiming to take the California Bar in 2027 , she told People at the event.
“I am always thinking about the bar,”
Pressed on timing, she made clear she isn’t cramming in between shoots and business calls.
“But I'm going to take my time and wait until the moment is right when I have some free time.”
Kardashian previously failed the California Bar Exam in July 2025 after a four-year legal apprenticeship, then skipped subsequent sittings — moves that fueled talk she’d shelved the effort. Her latest comments shut that down.
Her legal grind even sneaks into the new season of the Ryan Murphy drama. In the Season 2 trailer, Kardashian’s character, Allura Grant, cracks, “I didn’t pass on my first try,” a cheeky nod to the very real detour in her own journey.
Juggling it all
If the study calendar looks complicated, it’s because her day job(s) are. Kardashian is balancing:
- Starring as attorney Allura Grant in Season 2 of All’s Fair
- Running SKIMS and its expanding business ventures
- Filming The Kardashians
- Pursuing film and TV projects
- Raising her four kids
She’s also been out front defending All’s Fair amid rough reviews — and now, carving out space to return to the bar track. The target: 2027.
