They may have a producer in the family, but there’s still no Summer House scoop: Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos say son Michael is keeping pre-premiere spoilers to himself, as Ripa shared on Live With Kelly and Mark.

Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos technically have a pipeline into Bravo land thanks to their son working on Summer House, but even they are flying blind on the show’s current mess. And yeah, this one is messy: a marriage split, a romance with a housemate, and a reunion leak that sent Bravo into investigation mode.

The quick version

  • On the Wednesday, April 20 episode of Live With Kelly and Mark, Ripa, 55, said their oldest, Michael, 28, is a producer on Summer House but he gives them zero scoop. Her words: he tells them nothing.
  • The scandal Ripa heard about centers on Kyle Cooke, 43, and Amanda Batula, 34, who separated in January.
  • Two months later, Batula confirmed she was seeing costar West Wilson.
  • Complication: Wilson previously dated Batula’s best friend, Ciara Miller, 30, who says she was blindsided by the triangle.

What Kelly and Mark actually said on air

Ripa admitted she didn’t know all the onscreen details, just that the drama involved Kyle and Amanda. What she did have strong feelings about: the etiquette of dating your friend’s ex.

"Do you ever date your friend’s ex, women? No, this is a clear line in the sand. It ’s a no-no."

Consuelos agreed, joking you shouldn’t do it without "express written permission ... in triplicate."

Ripa doubled down: "There’s no triplicate. There’s no nothing... It crosses, to me, a line."

Beyond the banter, they made it clear they can’t comment further. And they’re not getting any help at home either. As Ripa put it, you’d think their son would prep them for this, but nope — he tells them nothing.

So who actually knew about Amanda and West?

Not many people behind the scenes, according to Bravo chairman Frances Berwick. In a Thursday, April 30 profile with The Ankler, Berwick said production basically didn’t have a heads-up. Her description: a "minor heads-up, a few hours," and that Amanda let Kyle know "a little bit before that day." The takeaway: even producers like Michael were mostly in the dark.

The reunion taping — and that leaked audio

The cast — Batula, Wilson, Cooke, and Miller included — got together last week to hash it all out at the season 10 reunion. Audio from the taping leaked the same night, which set off a quick probe at Bravo.

By Sunday, April 26, Bravo said the investigation concluded the leak was an unauthorized recording made and distributed by someone involved in producing the reunion. The network says there’s no evidence any cast member was part of it, "appropriate action " has already been taken, and they’re warning everyone — platforms included — not to post or amplify any of the improperly obtained audio. They also noted more unauthorized clips are floating around.

One last bit on the family angle

Ripa and Consuelos share three kids: Michael, 28; Lola, 24; and Joaquin, 23. Michael has been building his career behind the camera in the Bravo universe — but, as his parents keep reminding us, he is not their source.
