Two days after dropping the baby news, Justin Theroux and Nicole Brydon Bloom hit a red carpet like sleep is a myth. New parents, premiere night, full glam — all happening in Manhattan. Wild pace, even by Hollywood standards.
- They welcomed their first child, a baby boy, on Saturday, April 18. Name still under wraps.
- On Monday, April 20, they walked the world premiere of The Devil Wears Prada 2 at Lincoln Center in New York City.
- Theroux, 54, wore a navy button-up suit; Bloom, 32, went classic in a black Moschino halter gown.
- Theroux plays Emily Blunt’s on-screen boyfriend in the sequel, which opens May 1.
The red carpet 48 hours after the delivery
At Lincoln Center on Monday, Theroux and Bloom did the new-parent victory lap in full looks: navy suit for him, Moschino halter for her. He’s got a supporting role opposite Emily Blunt in The Devil Wears Prada 2, and on the carpet he told People what has hit him hardest about day-one dad life:
"Being able to pour all the love that I have into my son."
The baby post everyone saw
They announced the birth on Saturday with a joint Instagram: "He’s here 🕊️ we are so in love," plus a sweet black-and-white of their newborn sleeping on the chest of the Beetlejuice Beetlejuice actor. They have not shared his name yet.
Congrats poured in, including a low-key like from Theroux’s ex, Jennifer Aniston. Quick refresher: Aniston and Theroux married in 2015 after co-starring in Wanderlust, split three years later, and she’s now dating hypnotist Jim Curtis. Internet diplomacy remains undefeated.
How we got here: the whirlwind year
Theroux and Bloom quietly tied the knot last March in Tulum, Mexico — small, private, and stylish. Bloom wore a Victoria Beckham wedding gown; he matched in a white tux. By December 2025, news broke that they were expecting. In February, Bloom told The Hollywood Reporter she had always wanted this chapter.
"I’ve always wanted to be a mom. I love kids... I’ve always been looking forward to this chapter in my life, and certainly Justin has been, too."
She kept it real about the work juggle, too: going back will be a challenge, but she’s thrilled and happy. Based on their Monday-night turnout, they’re already proving the point.
What they are working on next
Bloom currently leads NBC’s post-apocalyptic thriller Paradise as Agent Jane Driscoll. The show was renewed for a third season by Hulu in March — yes, Hulu is the one renewing it. She also has a lead role in the upcoming film Handle with Care opposite The Umbrella Academy’s Justin H. Min.
Theroux’s The Devil Wears Prada 2 hits theaters May 1, and he’s also attached to the spy thriller Billion Dollar Spy alongside Russell Crowe, Vera Farmiga, and Tony Goldwyn.
