Think the Harrigans are safe after that brutal assault — their unexpected refuge is stacked with dangerous secrets, simmering grudges, and a test of family loyalty.

The Harrigans land not in hiding but at a showpiece villa in Mallorca, the estate of Seraphina’s mother, Priyanka, and stepfather Charlton Gibber. On the helicopter ride over, Seraphina tells patriarch Conrad she’s been meeting with Kat McAllister—not to betray him, she says, but to gather intel—and warns that Kat already knows the family ’s usual bolt-holes. Mallorca, far from the Cotswolds firefight, is their wildcard sanctuary.

When they arrive, Harry, Eddie and Gina are already by the pool. Maeve’s order sending Eddie to Ireland to kill the gangster Medusa boomerangs back: Eddie spins a tough-guy tale about how it all went down, and Maeve sees the holes instantly. Harry has no patience for any of it—he tells Maeve that if Gina is put in harm’s way again, there will be a reckoning—and then tries something new with his daughter: honesty. He lays out why working for the Harrigans gave her choices he never had. Gina listens, then hugs him.

Back in England, Frankie Cooper walks the blasted Harrigan estate, kneels to give Conrad’s dogs a biscuit, and then kills them. Whatever this war was before, it’s personal now.

A lifeline Conrad won’t take

Seraphina pitches a rescue plan: partner with Charlton, use his resources to rebuild the business and regain ground. Kevin clocks the move as another Seraphina power play, especially with Bella still furious at him over their son Eddie.

Old flames flare as Priyanka—once Conrad’s lover—turns on the charm, and Maeve watches every glance. Then Conrad torches the idea. A self-made king who calls himself an outlaw, he refuses the alliance, flaunting his pride and some ugly prejudices while he’s at it. Seraphina’s exit ramp disappears.

Frankie’s next trap

Humiliated by the Cotswolds debacle and muddled stories about JoJo’s death, Frankie corners dirty cop Tattersall (a.k.a. Colin) at gunpoint. Tattersall rattles off a confession about fear and being hooked on dangerous men, and somehow earns a stay of execution. Their new plan: grab Jan and torture her to force Harry into the open.

Meanwhile, Investigator Kavanagh pieces together that the Harrigans are hunting her team and that Finch was murdered; her bosses yank her off the case. Harry, trying to get there first, dispatches Zosia to shield Jan. Jan refuses any Harrigan bodyguards and threatens to shoot herself if they cross her threshold. When Donnie—Jan’s boyfriend and Frankie’s man on the inside—spots Zosia’s team, he reports back. Frankie’s reply is blunt: deliver Jan or die.

Jan changes the board

Donnie asks Jan to meet; she steers him to a pub, never shows, and slips into his house instead. He comes home, leaves Kat a voicemail admitting Jan has sussed out his cover—and walks into an ambush.

Jan waits in Donnie’s house and shoots him in the neck.

Donnie dies on the floor of his own place. The episode doesn’t hand Jan a tidy motive, but the pieces are there. She’d finally chosen someone outside Harry’s orbit; discovering Donnie worked for Kat turns that choice into a humiliation. Harry warned her, she waved him off, and now she seizes control the only way she sees left. The shock on her face says the cost lands fast.

The irony is brutal: only hours earlier, Jan threatened self-harm rather than accept Harrigan “protection.” Now she’s committed a crime that may require the very cleanup she wanted no part of. And with Donnie gone, two wild cards—Kat and Frankie—haven’t shown their hands yet.

Where everyone stands

  • Harry & Gina — Tentatively repaired after a hard talk; he vows consequences if she’s endangered again.
  • Conrad — Rejects Seraphina and Charlton’s rebuild plan, doubling down on going it alone.
  • Seraphina — Claims double-agent status with Kat; loyalty still under a microscope.
  • Maeve & Eddie — His Medusa “heroics” don’t add up; she isn’t fooled.
  • Frankie — Escalates the feud, spares Tattersall, and loses his leverage when Donnie is killed.
  • Kavanagh — Realizes Finch was murdered and gets pulled off the case.
  • Jan — Pulls the trigger on Donnie; what Kat and Frankie do about it isn’t shown.
