In a recent chat on All Out with Jon Dean, Parsons said the original run gave him incredible highs but also a lot of stress, and he’s not interested in stepping back into Sheldon’s T-shirts — not, as he put it, “for any amount of money.” He’s talked about how being recognized as Sheldon still feels odd now that he’s no longer living in that role every week.
Parsons has stayed connected at arm’s length — he narrated Young Sheldon and appeared in its finale — but he’s drawn a clear line on returning full-time.
