Heather Locklear and Lorenzo Lamas Make It Official With First Public Outing as a Couple

Heather Locklear and Lorenzo Lamas just made it official in the most wonderfully specific way possible: a public couple debut at a New Jersey horror and sci-fi fan convention. Yes, really. And yes, they looked happy about it.

Public debut, black outfits, zero subtlety

Locklear, 64, and Lamas, 68, stepped out together at the 2026 Chiller Theatre Expo in New Jersey on Sunday, April 26. Both wore black, and at one point she leaned into his chest with her arms around his waist. About two weeks earlier, on April 10, Lamas' rep told Us Weekly they were officially a thing.

"They are seeing each other."

How we got here

TMZ first connected the dots when photos surfaced of the two spending New Year’s Eve together in Las Vegas. They were snapped with chef Barry Dakake at his steakhouse inside the Circa Resort & Casino back in December 2025.

By the time the relationship news hit in April, the outlets were also reporting that their adult kids were planning to hang out that weekend and get to know each other, which is a very grown-up way to roll into a new chapter. For the family tree watchers: Locklear shares daughter Ava, 28, with ex-husband Richie Sambora. Lamas has A.J., 42, and Shayne, 40, with the late Michele Smith; Paton, 37, with Daphne Ashbrook; and Alexandra, 28, Victoria, 27, and Isabella, 25, with ex-wife Shauna Sand.

Locklear's recent timeline

This new romance arrives roughly a year after Us reported in May 2025 that Locklear was single. She had split from fiancé Chris Heisser, her high school sweetheart she reconnected with in 2020, after getting engaged in June 2020. By early 2025 she had not seen him since the new year and, per insiders at the time, was focused on herself and doing well.

Her history before that is pure 80s-90s tabloid catnip: married to Tommy Lee from 1986 to 1993, then to Richie Sambora in 1994 before they called it in 2007. She was also briefly engaged to her Melrose Place costar Jack Wagner in 2011.
