On Sunday, May 10, Tyler jumped on Instagram Stories to celebrate Ricki, who just had her first child.

He also posted separately about Emily, 39, and did not hold back:
"Hard to imagine we could be more blessed by God than to have you. We are constantly in awe of you — and honestly a little obsessed with you — @emilygmaynard. Happy Mother's Day."

A few weeks later, Ricki asked Emily on camera what she thought about having a baby outside marriage. Emily deadpanned that she was "very against it" and called it "unforgivable" — the whole thing was clearly a bit. Ricki then doubled down on the joke, pretending her mom was devastated... while also panning across a small mountain of baby gear Emily had bought. Ricki made sure to say she was genuinely grateful and that a lot of it was piled up at Emily's house because, yes, grandma mode had been activated.

In January, Ricki shared black-and-white photos after the birth and captioned it simply: "Best day ever." Emily and Tyler followed with their own joint announcement — plus the first official grandparent flex:
