Disney+ reveals the full 'VisionQuest' episode release schedule
Disney+ is shaking up how you’ll watch VisionQuest, revealing an offbeat release plan for Vision’s eight-part MCU return this fall.
The rollout isn’t the usual one-and-done weekly drip. VisionQuest hits Disney+ with a two-episode launch, follows with two-episode drops the next two Wednesdays, and only then eases into single installments to close out its run. It ’s an eight-episode finish to the loose WandaVision trilogy that began with WandaVision and carried through Agatha All Along.
Two episodes land October 14 on Disney+; the finale streams November 11.
This time the spotlight is on White Vision, rebuilt and rebooted, living off the grid after slipping away from people who wanted to turn him back into a weapon. A bounty flushes him out, pushing him on the road with Thomas Shepherd — a teenager who may be the reincarnation of his son, Tommy Maximoff.
The weirdest action isn’t just out in the world, it’s inside Vision’s head. Familiar MCU AIs show up as distinct personas — J.A.R.V.I.S., F.R.I.D.A.Y. and E.D.I.T.H. — alongside one very unwelcome presence: Ultron , voiced again by James Spader. The show threads that inner chess match with Vision’s struggle over memory, identity and where his “family ” begins and ends.
Release schedule
- October 14: Episodes 1 and 2
- October 21: Episodes 3 and 4
- October 28: Episodes 5 and 6
- November 4: Episode 7
- November 11: Episode 8 (finale)
Big-screen question mark
The finale lands barely five weeks before the MCU’s next team-up, Avengers: Doomsday, sparking the obvious question: does Vision jump from this series into that fight? Marvel ’s keeping that under wraps for now. Paul Bettany is missing from the film ’s official cast lists, and the Russo brothers have said some key appearances won’t be revealed until audiences are in theaters.
Behind the scenes, showrunner Terry Matalas built VisionQuest to leave the door open — depending on how Vision’s digital-consciousness quest and his possible family reunification shake out, the series can hand him (and Tommy) straight into the movie. That strategic ambiguity mirrors how Marvel handled other returns recently, positioning characters on streaming to glide into the next feature.
VisionQuest begins streaming Wednesday, October 14, 2026 , on Disney+, with two episodes at launch and the finale on November 11.
