Yes, Glen Powell has a show called Chad Powers—and that’s just the beginning.

The new run doesn’t reset the board — it leans into the mess. Season 2 picks up after Ricky blows Russ Holliday’s cover, outing his prosthetic-fueled alter ego “Chad Powers.” With the secret out, the South Georgia Catfish have to live with what Russ pulled to keep his football dream alive, and the series aims straight at the fallout.

Who’s back (and new)

Returning players include the core crew fans followed through the first season’s ruse:

  • Glen Powell — Russ Holliday, aka Chad Powers
  • Steve Zahn — Coach Hudson
  • Colton Ryan — Gerry
  • Perry Mattfeld — Ricky
  • Frankie Rodriguez — Danny Cruz

There are fresh faces, too. Per Deadline, Season 2 adds:

  • Colin Woodell
  • Gillian Jacobs
  • Carey O’Donnell
  • Nate Varrone

Toby Huss and Clayne Crawford are also expected to return, though their Season 2 status hasn’t been confirmed.

Created by Glen Powell and Michael Waldron, Chad Powers arrived in 2025, earned solid buzz, and was renewed later that year. The sports comedy follows a disgraced college quarterback who slaps on prosthetics to reinvent himself and keep playing.

What Season 2 tackles

Season 1 ended with Ricky exposing Chad’s true identity, and the new episodes explore what happens when the disguise comes off — on the field and in the locker room. A new trailer hints at more trouble, tension, and chaos as the Catfish deal with the consequences.

When it lands

Hulu has circled an early fall date for the binge.

All six episodes of Season 2 stream on September 3 on Hulu.

Season 2 will drop all at once, giving fans the option to binge the entire run on day one.
